My name is Eddie King and I am a Senior in high school. My interests are music, languages, business/stocks, and most of all tennis. I play tennis on my school team and it is my favorite activity in and out of school. I play the clarinet in my school's marching and concert band. I find foreign languages very interesting and useful so I take Spanish in school and Japanese outside of school. One goal I have in high school is to improve my tennis skills and hopefully make districts in singles next season. My long term goals are to go to a good college and major in finance. I hope to continue studying languages in college and be fluent by the time I graduate.
Surveys and Assessments
My letter combination on the Myers Briggs test was INTJ. I definitely agree with all four of the results. While I do enjoy social settings and being with friends, I need to be by myself at times to collect my thoughts and regenerate. I am definitely intuitive as well. I look to the future a lot and think about how things could be rather than how they were. I also like to see the big picture and I like trying new and different ideas. I am more of a thinker than feeler but I still feel that I can empathize with people and give good advice. Lastly, I'm a J because I don't usually like to procrastinate and I like to have a schedule.
In the Values Assessment my top two values were "Friendship and Companionship" and "Creativity". I agree that my most important value is friendship and companionship. If I don't have good friendships it's hard for me to be productive. I also like to be creative but I am slightly surprised that it was my second highest value. I think this will affect my college and career choice in some ways. I will probably look more toward places that allow and encourage creativity and individuality.
